Calling all cyclists! Bici Bellas and Orion are hosting a special Singles Ride Club event designed for like-minded individuals who share a love for cycling and want to meet new people. We’ll embark on a scenic group ride through various parts of Brooklyn, with planned stops for coffee at Principles and an end-of-ride meetup at Strong Rope Brewery for mingling and good times. A raffle will be held for a lucky match, so get ready to mix and mingle. Whether you’re here for the ride, the conversation, or the potential match, this is your chance to connect with fellow cycling enthusiasts.

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that by signing this document, I am agreeing to the following terms and conditions related to my participation in the Chain Reaction Club, a group bicycle ride sponsored by Orion and Bici Bellas:

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I fully understand that participating in any cycling event, including the Chain Reaction Club, involves inherent risks. These risks include, but are not limited to:

Physical injury or harm from accidents, collisions, falls, or mechanical failures of my bicycle or equipment.

Dangers associated with traffic, weather conditions, road conditions, and other riders.

The potential for serious physical injury, permanent disability, or death.

2. Assumption of Responsibility

I assume full responsibility for my safety during the ride. I certify that I am physically fit and sufficiently trained to participate in this event. I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to follow all traffic laws, wear a helmet, and use proper safety equipment.

3. Release and Waiver of Liability

In consideration of my participation in the Chain Reaction Club, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Orion, Bici Bellas, event sponsors, event organizers, volunteers, and any affiliated parties from any and all claims, liability, demands, damages, expenses (including legal fees), injuries, or losses (including death) that may arise from my participation in the event.

4. Medical Treatment

I understand that Orion, Bici Bellas, and event organizers do not provide any medical coverage or treatment. I assume all responsibility for any medical expenses incurred during or after the event due to injury or illness.

5. Agreement to Abide by Event Rules

I agree to follow all instructions and rules provided by event organizers and volunteers. I understand that failure to comply with safety instructions may result in removal from the event.

6. Legal Age and Competency

I certify that I am 18 years of age or older, and competent to sign this Waiver and Release of Liability. 

I HAVE READ THIS AGREEMENT AND UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS. BY SIGNING THIS DOCUMENT, I AM VOLUNTARILY WAIVING ANY RIGHT I MAY HAVE TO A LAWSUIT OR LEGAL ACTION AGAINST ORION, BICI BELLAS, OR ANY OTHER PARTY INVOLVED IN THIS EVENT.
